The client intake process is below. Please note, this entire intake process can take about a month or more, from initial contact to the first session. Timeline is contingent upon certain variables, such as insurance authorizations and family availability.
Parent/ Guardian contacts Early Start Intervention Services, Inc. (i.e. visit clinic, call, email).
Insurance information is collected and the company is called to verify benefits and coverage.
Initiation and Eligibility
Informational session with introductions, tour, and initial intake process begins.
Review of client policies and procedures, and intake paperwork completed.
Intake Process
Following insurance authorization, an assessment is scheduled.
Assessments consist of observations, interviews, formal assessment and whatever else if required based on initial intake information collected.
Assessment
Session with family to review results of assessment, discuss the treatment plan and commit to clinical recommendations.
After family approval, the treatment plan will be submitted to insurance for therapy authorization.
Goal Setting
Once the insurance company approves services, the schedule for sessions will be finalized with the family.
Additional "first day" logistics will be discussed. A Registered Behavior Technician will be paired with the client.

Parent/ Guardian will be introduced to their child's Dream Team (Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Registered Behavior Technician)!
